Where we actually
show up.

Shah Enterprises works out of Kankanady Gate on the Mangaluru Bypass Road, with a second service centre on NH75 at Nekkiladi, Uppinangady. Below is an honest map of our coverage — with the response time you can expect in each place, not a list of city names.

Dakshina Kannada

Mangalore

3 km · 45–60 minutes

Mangalore is our home market. The counter at Kankanady Gate sits on the Bypass Road, which means a technician can reach most of the city core without crossing the Hampankatta bottleneck. City customers get same-day battery replacement, inverter load surveys and RO servicing, with stock held physically in the shop rather than ordered in.

View Mangalore page

Kankanady

0.5 km · 15–25 minutes

Kankanady is where the shop physically is. If you are anywhere between Kankanady Junction, the railway station side and Wenlock Hospital, you are effectively walking distance from our counter — you can bring the battery in for a free load test instead of waiting for a van.

Kadri

4 km · 30–45 minutes

Kadri's mix of older independent houses and newer apartment towers means two very different jobs: tubular inverter banks for houses that want long backup, and compact SMF setups for flats where the balcony space is limited. We survey the load before quoting instead of selling a fixed combo.

View Kadri page

Hampankatta

3 km · 30–40 minutes

Hampankatta is commercial territory — shops, offices and showrooms that cannot afford a dead UPS during business hours. Most of our work here is scheduled outside peak trading time, and we carry the replacement to the shop shutter rather than asking anyone to move a vehicle in that traffic.

View Hampankatta page

Lalbagh

4 km · 30–40 minutes

Lalbagh is a dense residential pocket where a lot of homes still run older inverters bought a decade ago. A large share of our Lalbagh visits are health checks — testing whether the existing inverter is worth keeping and only replacing the battery when the electronics are still sound.

View Lalbagh page

Bejai

5 km · 30–45 minutes

Bejai has a heavy concentration of apartment complexes and small offices along the Kapikad stretch. Bulk work — replacing an entire block's common-area UPS batteries or fitting purifiers across several flats in one visit — is common here, and we price those as a single site job.

View Bejai page

Derebail

7 km · 40–55 minutes

Derebail's growth has been residential and fast, with new layouts still settling into their power supply. Fluctuation-related inverter tripping is the complaint we hear most here, so our visits usually start with a voltage check before anything gets sold.

View Derebail page

Bikarnakatte

7 km · 40–55 minutes

Bikarnakatte sits on the Kavoor–Kulshekar corridor and carries a lot of two-wheeler and small-car traffic. Quick bike battery swaps and inverter battery top-ups make up most of what we do here, and it is an easy stop on our Kavoor route.

View Bikarnakatte page

Bondel

6 km · 35–50 minutes

Bondel is largely independent houses with room for a proper battery trolley, so tubular banks with real backup are practical here rather than compromise setups. We size for actual load — fans, lights, fridge, pump — instead of quoting a standard package.

View Bondel page

Kuloor

9 km · 45–60 minutes

Kuloor sits close to the river and the industrial stretch towards Baikampady. Humidity and salt here are hard on terminals, so our standard Kuloor fitment includes corrosion protection and a follow-up check within the warranty period.

View Kuloor page

Surathkal

18 km · 60–90 minutes

Surathkal combines student housing near NITK, refinery-belt staff quarters and coastal homes. Purifiers matter more here than almost anywhere else on our route because of the salinity in local water, and we sell RO with a TDS controller as the default, not an upsell.

View Surathkal page

Kavoor

8 km · 40–60 minutes

Kavoor is a fast-growing residential belt with a lot of first-time inverter buyers. We spend more time explaining here — what the battery actually powers, what it will not, and what maintenance it needs — because a right-sized first purchase avoids a replacement two years later.

View Kavoor page

Urwa

5 km · 30–45 minutes

Urwa is close in and easy to reach, with a mix of older homes and small commercial units around the market. Fast turnarounds are the norm — a lot of Urwa customers call in the morning and are running again before lunch.

View Urwa page

Ashok Nagar

5 km · 30–45 minutes

Ashok Nagar is a settled residential pocket where most calls are replacements rather than first installations. That makes it straightforward — we usually know the model before arriving, so the visit is a single trip with the right battery already loaded.

View Ashok Nagar page

Jeppu

4 km · 30–45 minutes

Jeppu's low-lying stretches see water logging during the monsoon, which is exactly when backup power matters most. We advise raised battery mounting here and schedule pre-monsoon checks for regular customers in May.

View Jeppu page

Ullal

12 km · 50–75 minutes

Ullal is across the Netravati and firmly coastal, so salinity dominates every recommendation we make. RO purifier installation is our most requested job here, and battery fitments always include anti-corrosion treatment as standard rather than an add-on.

View Ullal page

Thokkottu

9 km · 45–60 minutes

Thokkottu is the junction where the Ullal and Konaje roads meet the highway, so it is a natural stop on our southern runs. Highway breakdowns are common here, and roadside battery replacement is a regular call for us.

View Thokkottu page

Panambur

14 km · 55–80 minutes

Panambur is port and industry, and the equipment reflects that — heavy vehicle batteries, workshop UPS and gate-office backup rather than domestic setups. We handle documentation-heavy supply for company accounts here, including proper disposal records for old batteries.

View Panambur page

Bajpe

20 km · 70–90 minutes

Bajpe covers the airport belt and the villages around it, where supply interruptions are longer than in the city. Backup sizing here is deliberately generous — customers want hours, not minutes, and we quote tubular banks accordingly.

View Bajpe page

Konaje

18 km · 60–85 minutes

Konaje is university territory — Mangalore University, hostels and the PG houses around them. Compact purifiers and reliable small inverters for shared accommodation are the bulk of our work here, with maintenance scheduled around semester breaks.

View Konaje page

Bantwal

28 km · 75–100 minutes

Bantwal town and the surrounding taluk are served together with our Uppinangady branch route, which makes the inland stretch practical rather than occasional. Agricultural pumping and long rural outages shape what we recommend here.

View Bantwal page

BC Road

26 km · 70–95 minutes

BC Road is the highway junction that feeds Bantwal, Puttur and the ghat route, so it sees constant commercial traffic. Truck and bus batteries, plus backup for the shops and eateries along the highway, make up most of our work here.

View BC Road page

Puttur

52 km · Same-day via Uppinangady branch

Puttur is served through our Uppinangady service centre on the NH75 rather than from Mangalore, which is why same-day work here is realistic. Areca and rubber belt homes and small businesses form the customer base, with long outages making backup capacity the priority.

View Puttur page

Sullia

85 km · Scheduled visits via Uppinangady branch

Sullia is the far inland edge of our coverage, close to the Kodagu border. We work here on scheduled visits routed through Uppinangady rather than pretending to offer city-style response times — planned installations and AMC calls, booked in advance.

View Sullia page

Moodbidri

34 km · 90–120 minutes

Moodbidri's colleges, temples and institutions need dependable backup for halls, offices and hostels more than for individual rooms. Institutional installations and their annual maintenance are the bulk of what we do in this belt.

View Moodbidri page

Mulki

30 km · 80–110 minutes

Mulki sits on the coastal highway between Surathkal and Udupi and shares the same saline water and salt-air conditions. Purifier selection and corrosion protection are the two things we get asked about most on this stretch.

View Mulki page

Kinnigoli

26 km · 75–100 minutes

Kinnigoli is inland from Mulki, agricultural and comparatively spread out. Homes here often have their own well and pump, so battery sizing has to account for motor starting current, not just lights and fans.
